Artist's Description
"Green Ice" was painted in watercolour on gessoed board, creating and interesting pooling of paint in areas that was totally random. The beauty of watercolour is the unpredictability of the medium. The violets and blues complemented the yellows and greens to make the painting "pop", coupled with the unusual technique and gave a new look to an old subject. Florals are a particular favorite of mine, but only if they be "out of the ordinary".
