Weeping Ladies Mantle is just that. The dew drops or rain drops cling to the ruffled leaves, making that feature the most prominent and lovely of the plant. The white highlights seem to rise from a dark pool of garden greens and sparkle with energy. The splattering of blooms give a playfulness to the work as do the ferns and columbine leaves in the background. It suggests a perfect hideaway for elves and fairies.
