Although the haybale is the focal point in the work, the skies ultimately capture the viewer with the turbulance and color of a brewing storm. The foreground is dominated by the haybale with its textural treatment but other interesting areas also exist in the background. The sky is the show stopper as one can get lost in the movement and mystery of the heavens.
