Daffodils welcome the springtime but, as usual, dark skies threaten a stormy day. They are not daunted as they look for the sun which may appear at any moment. Such is the uncertainty of the spring. The early nature of the season is depicted by the bare trees which make the flowers stance seem all the more brave and hopeful.
